Please remember that there will be a half-day of school this Monday, August 24. The pick-up for half days this year is 11:30 a.m.
I want to make you aware of an e-mail I received today from our ELS chairman, indicating that:
...the fall teachers' conference this year is on October 15-16 at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.
It was told to me and was scheduled everywhere that these conference dates for 2009 would be the following week of October 22-23. I also received some e-mails from parents wanting to verify those dates, as they were making plans for a fall vacation.
If you have plans already made for your children to be gone the 22-23, rest assured that we would encourage you to keep those family plans in tact. Since the accurate conference dates were only recently given, we fully understand that for some, your travel plans cannot be changed.
There are no athletic or special school activities for the now scheduled October 15-16 no school dates.
